Broome Barbershop has been in business since 1948, serving the Waxhaw community for generations. We are proud of our roots and excited for the future ahead of us and for our community.
Broome Barbershop has had different owners throughout the years, we have worked hard to maintain the local barbershop atmosphere while keeping the stations maintained and updated.
In 2023 we updated our entire barbershop from the barber stations to the barber chairs, our goal is to maintain a clean and welcoming environment that our customers have enjoyed for years!

Our Past
Broome Barbershop is well-known to be a staple of the downtown Waxhaw community. Being in business for so many years has brought so much joy to customers and friends who have come to know us here.
Broome Barbershop is the longest standing Waxhaw, nc business. We are so proud to be a part of Waxhaw history in this way and plan to continue serving this wonderful community for years to come!
The future
Jonathan Kendall purchased Broome Barbershop in 2021 after working at the barbershop himself for 12 years.
He continues to serve every day just as before and has maintained that same barbershop atmosphere that you and the Waxhaw community have come to love and expect.
Remodeling
In 2023, the team did a transformation of the barbershop. Previously, the barber chairs were mis-matched and the barbers didn’t have full individual stations, so we updated that as you can see now in the pictures here.
